Phalaenopsis Aphrodite

Introduction to Phalaenopsis:

Phalaenopsis, perennial herbaceous plant of the Orchidaceae family, is also known as "Orchid" or "Queen of Orchid".

The stems of Phalaenopsis are very short and usually enclosed by leaf sheaths. Its leaves are slightly fleshy in oval, sickle-oblong or regular oblong shapes, with green appearance on the front and purple on the back.

The bracts of Phalaenopsis are in round triangle shape, about 3-5 mm long; the petals are round diamond shape, about 2.7-3.4 cm long and 2.4-3.8 cm wide, with reticulated veins. When the flowers are in full bloom, they look like flying butterflies, look gorgeous.

The original meaning of the name Phalaenopsis to be expressed in Greek is "a butterfly-like orchid." It is a large family of orchids originating from tropical areas, and the white Phalaenopsis species native to Taiwan is even more famous around the world.
