Aeonium 'Black Copper White Variegated' is a rare variegated succulent of Aeonium genus (Crassulaceae), mutated from Aeonium 'Zwartkop'. It is popular among collectors for its unique color and elegant shape.
It forms compact rosettes with spoon-shaped leaves. Its leaves are classic coppery-red with irregular creamy white variegation. Under sufficient light and large temperature differences, the coppery-red deepens to reddish-brown, contrasting beautifully with the white variegation.
It prefers warm, dry and well-ventilated environments with sufficient light. Shade properly in summer (over 30℃) to avoid sunburn. Plant it in well-drained granular soil (50%-60% particles) to prevent root rot.
Water thoroughly when the soil is dry; reduce watering in summer and winter to adapt to its semi-dormant state. It branches easily into multi-headed old piles, with high ornamental value for potted plants and succulent combinations.
