Aeonium Medusa

 

Introduction to Aeonium 'Medusa':

This variety was initially discovered and cultivated by a farm owner in the Netherlands. In 2017, it was purchased at a high price by a domestic horticultural company and introduced into China. It is a succulent plant of the Aeonium genus in the Crassulaceae family.

The leaves grow at the stem tip and branch top and gather into a rosette leaf disc. The leaves are obovate, with eyelash-like cilia on the leaf margins. The leaves near the leaf center are greenish in the middle. As it grows, the middle of the old leaves will turn purple-black. The middle of the leaves is blackish, like thick black lines, hence the name "Medusa".
