Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi'

Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' is a hybrid resulting from a cross between Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum pachyphyllum. It has elongated leaves that are smooth and slightly concave on the adaxial surface, with slightly pointed tips. Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' grows relatively quickly, with the lower leaves dropping off easily before sprouting lateral buds from the stem to form a cluster. The leaves are usually gray-green with a slight white dusting, but in full sunlight, they can vary greatly in color, appearing pink, orange, red, purple, or yellow, creating a glowing effect in a garden.

How to Care for Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi'

Sun/Temperature:
Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' requires proper shading during hot summers and should be moved indoors when temperatures drop below 30°F in winter. Otherwise, it can be kept outdoors to receive full sunlight. Insufficient light or excessive soil moisture during growth can cause its color to darken and can accelerate upward growth.

Soil/Watering/Pot:
We recommend a well-drained, well-aerated soil for cultivation. Pots with drainage holes in the bottom will prevent water from pooling at the roots. For beginners, a breathable clay pot is a good choice. Glass containers should be used with caution as they absorb heat and have poor breathability. Ensure the soil is completely dry before watering, and water thoroughly afterward.

Fertilizer:
Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' needs to be fertilized. We recommend watering it every two weeks with an organic or compound fertilizer if you want the stems and leaves to be more compact.
