Uebelmannia pectinifera, commonly referred to as Comb-spined Uebelmannia, is a rare and endangered globular cactus endemic to the rocky, semi-arid regions of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Distinguished by its cylindrical to spherical stem and dense, comb-like radial spines (the feature that gives it its common name), the plant has a striking dark green to bluish-green epidermis with prominent vertical ribs. It produces small, pale yellow flowers in summer, which bloom near the apex of mature plants.
