Lipstick, also known as the Night of Enchantment, belongs to the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family. So how should lipstick be maintained?

🌸 The first thing I want to talk about is the soil problem: it relatively prefers soil with stronger permeability to avoid waterlogging and root rot. A higher proportion of particles is more conducive to controlling the shape and state. It is recommended to use Captain 80 soil (universal sedum). A variety of granular substrates that do not accumulate water are easier to produce.

🍁 Light problem: In spring and autumn, you can choose to grow it outdoors in sufficient sunlight, or put it on a sunny south balcony; in this way, the plant is short and strong, the leaves are compact, and the edges of the leaves will also show bright colors. Relatively speaking, lipstick is still light-loving, but it is also afraid of direct strong light. Insufficient light will easily turn green and the leaves will grow too long. In winter, if the temperature is above 5 degrees Celsius, you can continue to consider outdoor cultivation. If it is lower than 5 degrees, you need to move it indoors to avoid frostbite.

🌰 When the sun is strong in the summer, the growth of lipstick will become slow or even stagnate. At this time, you need to control watering. After the pot soil is dry, add water to the edge. At the same time, you need to ensure good ventilation to prevent high temperature and root rot. You must also provide shade and rain protection in time to avoid problems.

🌼 The suitable temperature for normal growth is 5-28 degrees. In winter, you must pay attention to water control below 5 degrees to prevent the roots from being frostbitten by low temperatures. Watering can be done at noon.

Plants that have been transported for a long time need to be unpacked immediately after arrival.

3. Place the plant in a cool and ventilated place for 2-3 days , and dry it for 3-5 days without roots or with pruned roots
4. Water it for the first time one week after planting, and place it in a cool, ventilated and sunny place, but avoid direct sunlight, which is the normal condition of plants.

If you find that the plants you received have blackened, rotted, or other problems, please take photos of all the damaged plants and send them to us immediately (please take photos of all damaged plants of the same variety together). We will provide you with relevant restocking or replace them free of charge during your next shipment.
