About maintenance
1. Illumination
Iceberry Moon Shadow likes a sunny and cool environment. It is not cold-resistant and if the light is not strong, it will easily cause it to grow too tall and have loose leaves.
2. Watering
Watering once or twice a month is enough. During the growth period, the amount of watering should be properly controlled. Watering must be done after the soil is dry. Do not make it too wet. Try to avoid watering the plant. Keep water out of the middle of the plant to prevent rot. When potting, add appropriate base fertilizer and apply thin fertilizer 1-2 times during the growth period.
3. Soil Preparation
Generally, you can use a mixture of peat, vermiculite and perlite, and add an appropriate amount of bone meal. You can also mix 3 parts of leaf mold, 3 parts of river sand, 1 part of garden soil, and 1 part of slag. The air permeability of the soil should be considered. Spring and autumn are the growing seasons of ice berries. They can be exposed to full sunlight. They will hibernate in summer. They should be ventilated and shaded. Water 3 to 4 times a month, and give a small amount of water at the edge of the pot. In winter, when the temperature drops below 3 degrees, you should gradually cut off the water. Keep the potting soil dry below 0 degrees, and try to keep it no lower than minus 3 degrees. This way you can spend the winter safely. Try to use less water in winter, otherwise the roots will rot easily.
