Echeveria Lenore Dean, more commonly known as Compton Carousel, is a very finicky cultivar. I make everyone aware of this before selling them, as they can look absolutely gorgeous one day and start struggling the next. I believe the reason is their high variegation and generally paper-thin leaves. Although I have seen a few Lenore Deans with thicker leaves, most rosettes have very thin leaves, and the Lenore Deans we have on our upload tonight are no exception.

Please be patient with this one. Protect it from weather extremes and heavy rains until it settles in. I would be happy to guarantee our Compton Carousels for 30 days, but if it dies after that, please understand it might not be anyone's fault. These can be tricky.

This Compton Carousel measures about 3.25 inches across and has nice roots. It will lose some lower leaves as it settles in, which is typical for this cultivar. Try to be patient with it; this is a very pretty cultivar.
